How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Stocksdetroit Tree Service to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to send a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Stocksdetroit Tree Service
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The behavior of a provider we connected you with
If the Issue Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with tree work at your property, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.
Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who keeps falling short may be removed. Note that Stocksdetroit Tree Service cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@stocksdetroit.living and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed contractors, a state or local licensing office may be able to help too.
